Nine Island Girls bought tickets to downtown Naples to see Miracle on 34th Street at the Sugden Theater and to see a tuba concert before the play. Two were "under the weather" and could not go, three went to Costco before, and one missed the tuba concert but made it in time for the play. (And an additional one, who was not even going to the play, took pictures of the tuba concert). The IG's were a busy bunch!
Naples was all decked out in their Christmas finest with more lights than normal. People crowded the street and sidewalks. Parking decks and lots were full and parking on the street meant a healthy walk. The concert was lovely, the play was great, and the cooler weather allowed everyone to deck out like up north! As always, a wonderful time was had by all. Thank you, Maureen M!
(And the IG's even sold the unused tickets for the sold out show and gave the money back to the two that missed....ISLAND GIRL POWER!).
